"Winning a Georgia."

Georgia Alliance for Progress is the only donor-led organization in Georgia focused on building a strong Progressive Movement in the State.

We turn progressive values into Georgia Policy

What does it mean to be progressive?

Progressive Values seek to create an inclusive and equitable democracy that represents the people of Georgia. This includes ensuring equal access to quality health care, quality education and meaningful economic opportunities.

How we win:

We win by investing in organizations and efforts that empowers our base and builds long-term sustainable power.

Georgia Alliance for Progress is a community of donors who strategically invest in high impact progressive efforts that builds a permanent and powerful progressive movement and produces political and policy change in Georgia. Launched in 2014 by local business and civic leaders, we are active investors who provide guidance and financial support to organizations working in our core capacity areas.

  • Build leadership pipelines that recruit and train candidates
  • Create strategic, tested communications messages & drive proactive media coverage

  • Provide research, polling and data on key issues for targeting and mobilizing voters

  • Conduct direct voter contact campaigns aimed at winning targeted elections
  • Register and turn out citizens to vote to foster greater civic engagement and increased participation

We are committed to winning, to building deep community relationships, to holding elected officials accountable and to addressing the largest problems facing our state. We demand rigor and accountability, and we encourage innovation. We don’t seek the spotlight. Instead, we operate under the radar and let our results speak for themselves. We treat our members like investors—their financial contributions are political investments.
